How to turn off Kindle Paperwhite
- Locate the Power Button on your Kindle e-reader.
- Press the Power Button for about 5-7 seconds.
- Three options will come up: Cancel, Restart, and Screen Off. Tap the Screen Off button, and your Kindle Paperwhite will turn blank, which means it has turned off.This way, you will be able to preserve your battery when you are not using your e-reader.
