Can you access Audible books with Amazon Prime?
While you don’t get full Audible member benefits, you can access some audiobooks with Amazon Prime.
Being a prime member, you will have access to more than fifty audiobooks, as well as other ad-free streaming content such as podcasts.
These podcasts include talk shows, comedy podcasts, and more. But for this article, we will be going over all the audiobook features that Amazon Prime now offers to its members.
Fans of audiobooks may have been grieving the loss of audible channels, which launched back in 2016, but earlier this year was canceled.
However, in its place, a new union of services was announced with Amazon and Audible partnering.
And the best part of this is the fact that you don’t even have to have an audible account to enjoy streaming these free audiobooks as long as you have a membership with Amazon Prime in good standing.
This is all thanks to Prime Reading, which is a service provided by Amazon with a rotating library of books to choose from, including some magazines and, as mentioned before, streaming podcasts.
With Audible channels available for Amazon Prime members, you can enjoy numerous amounts of books and podcasts. All audiobooks are with a rotating library, so there is always something that will interest you.
Audible channels also include news stories from The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Wall Street Journal.
What Genres of Audiobooks are Available on Amazon Prime?
There are plenty of audiobook choices when it comes to genres that are available with Audible channels for Amazon Prime members.
You do not need an Audible membership to enjoy these free audiobooks.
One of the great things about this service from Amazon is that you do not need to be the primary account holder of the Amazon Prime membership to enjoy the Audible benefits.

Additionally, there are free streaming podcasts that are commercial and ad-free, and some of these you won’t find anywhere else.
